West Didsbury & Chorlton AFC have signed a new sweeper… of a different kind!

Mr Soot Chimney Sweep has pitched in with sponsorship for the next three years.

The HETAS-approved company, which has a base on Burton Road, M20, is undertaking a new initiative to recognise the valuable contribution grassroots sports and voluntary organisations make across the area.

As part of the sponsorship, a Mr Soot advertising board has taken pride of place in a key location at the Brookburn Road ground.

Formed in 1908, West Didsbury & Chorlton is a thriving club. The men’s first team are in the North West Counties Premier League. They have two women’s teams and a staggering 32 junior teams – made up of 24 boys’ teams and eight girls’ teams.

David, owner of Mr Soot Chimney Sweep, said: “As a local company, serving the whole of Manchester and with many loyal customers in Chorlton, Withington and Didsbury, we felt it important to support our local team.

“I’ve been amazed to learn at how much work they’ve done to create a real community hub. It’s fantastic and we are so pleased to be able to support West Didsbury & Chorlton in their good work.
