Mr Soot has announced its THIRD sponsorship deal for the coming football season – with Merseyside club Marine FC.

The HETAS-approved company teamed up with the College Road, Crosby, outfit as part of its drive to support local community organisations.

This means they’ve netted a hat-trick of deals by supporting West Didsbury & Chorlton, Ashton Town and now Marine!

Founded in 1984, Marine has been a real success story in recent years. A dream FA Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur in 2021 boosted the club’s coffers by over £0.5m.

Marine is now a bustling community hub with a new bar, 3G pitch and facilities which host a range of activities.

It also has a women’s team, three academy teams aged 16-19 and the 3G pitch is used by over 50 local teams, including FC Bootle, Formby Community Club and Crosby Stuart.

Mr Soot owner David said: “It’s great to get involved with Marine, especially as they prepare to celebrate their 130th year.

“Since establishing ourselves in Merseyside as part of a wider growth strategy, we’ve secured many loyal customers in the Crosby, Thornton, Waterloo, Brighton-le-Sands and wider area.

“And as a company, employing local people, it’s important to us that we do our bit to help support those who are doing some fantastic work in the community.

“We’re also right behind their promotion efforts, and will be cheering them on against Whitby Town this Saturday.“
