Mr Soot’s owner and founder is to head up local grassroots lobbying activity for the Federation of Small Businesses.

David’s role as Area Leader for Greater Manchester will see him champion entrepreneurship and business issues throughout the city region’s nine boroughs; Wigan, Stockport, Manchester, Trafford, Salford, Tameside, Bolton, Rochdale and Oldham.

As an FSB member for over five years, David has been a prominent voice for smaller business, especially trades, having appeared on national TV and radio. In addition, he hosts the Trade Entrepreneur podcast and is a business mentor for GC Business Growth Hub.

Since starting up Mr Soot, David has grown from a one-man band to one of the fastest growing and best-known chimney sweeping, testing and inspecting companies in the UK.
