One area of Britain is experiencing a boom in solid fuel.

Lee Mayers, owner of Village Fireplaces & Stoves, says his customers are removing their gas boilers and replacing them with woodburners and open fires.

This is because, on the Isle of Man, where Lee’s business is based, the price of gas has gone through the roof.
