More success for Mr Soot’s team of registered professional sweeps!

Peter has now joined David to become a HETAS-Approved Chimney Sweep.

He successfully completed his HETAS H003 solid fuel installer course last month. In the same month, Peter also achieved the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps’ accreditations for:

• CCTV inspections
• Chimney leakage and smoke testing
• Thatched and historic properties.

All this has resulted in a company promotion for Peter, who has now been appointed to the role of Chimney Sweep Technician at Mr Soot.

Commenting on the news, Mr Soot owner David said: “This is fantastic news both for Peter personally and the company.

“It’s a clear sign that the Mr Soot Training Academy Programme yields results and gives our valued colleagues a well-defined career pathway.

“Moreover, I’m told this latest HETAS Approved Chimney Sweep status means our Liverpool office, in Jamaica Street, L1, is the only one of its kind in the city with this accreditation. 

“It joins our Manchester office, on Burton Road in Withington, M20, in being able to offer our customers in both cities – and surrounding areas – a full HETAS-Approved Chimney Sweep service.

“We are determined to continue improving our offer to customers both old and new. 

“The growth we are seeing right across the areas we serve currently is a sign of our commitment to excellence.”
